World Unite - Music unit
Throughout this unit, we are celebrating the universal language of music by exploring rhythm and melody in singing, movement and dance.
Our lessons so far have focussed on singing, body percussion and using cups for movement and percussion. Below you can see one of our first attempts at the cup pattern we were learning. After this, we moved onto working in groups to come up with our own pattern.

Ukulele
We are lucky enough to be continuing with our ukulele lessons in year 6. We will continue to practise the chords we have already learnt in year 5 and our Kodaly rhythms. We will use our skills to being composing some of our own pieces which we will perform within our year group.
