RE
In RE, we will be learning about Christianity and Hinduism. The children will be able to compare and contrast Christian and Hindu places of worship and beliefs. We will study the life of Jesus Christ and consider how different religions celebrate important events such as Christmas.
During one of our R.E lessons, we looked at the importance of the Lord's Prayer and how Christians recite it to show their commitment to their faith. The children were asked a series of 'big' questions, which focused on providing their own opinions about the Lord's Prayer.
In RE, the children started the Summer Term by learning about the Hindu festival of Rama Navami. They are moving on to looking at their own beliefs and what is important to them. They will also look at communities and how they come together in times of crisis.
