Poetry Unit 1
During our first Music lesson of the year, we began our topic of Poetry which focused on the children learning:
- Music notation with reference to metre and accent.
- An extended performance piece from a poem.
- How to use a canon and ostinati as accompaniments.
- About notation, accent, diminuedo and balance.
