In Autumn 1, we learnt how to make strong and sturdy structures. We practised a range of designs using cocktail sticks and sweets then we moved on to designing our own pavilions. To build these, we used lollysticks and cardboard triangles.  Once we had made the structure, we used weaving skills to make the walls and roof.

In Autumn 2, we looked at how to adapt recipes for cupcakes according to our target audience. We chose which extra ingredients we wanted to add in and also made boxes to appeal to our target audience.  

In the Spring Term, we are going to design and create torches using electrical circuits.
