Nursery Admissions for September 2026 are now open

Starting nursery is a very important milestone in every child’s life. As a parent/carer, you have an important role to play in helping your child take the first steps on their learning journey. We are keen to work with you to make sure that starting nursery is a positive experience for your child, and to help your child achieve their full potential in a warm and caring environment.

St Catherine’s Nursery class is an integral part of St Catherine’s School: it will provide the same high quality of teaching and learning as the rest of the school.

Morning Nursery - All children are expected to attend the five morning sessions (Monday to Friday) to ensure continuity in their learning, and access to the whole curriculum. A morning session lasts for three hours.

30 Hours provision at St Catherine’s - as well as morning nursery, we will also operate lunch club and afternoon nursery sessions. These sessions are available to all nursery children, whether funded (via 30 hours entitlement) or for a fee.

OPEN DAY - on Saturday 15th November 2025 our Nursery and Reception classrooms will be open for your to view and our staff will be available if you have any questions.  Come along between 10am and 1.30pm.  Children are welcome.

Paper copies of the application will be available at the open day or can be collected from the School office.
