Year 5 have planned and made our own doodlers.
For our food unit in year 5, we have been exploring bolognese sauce. The children tasted different sauces and looked closely at the label and how the products were marketed. We learned about the nutritional information and that adapting the ingredients would change the nutritional value. We adapted a recipe and cooked it, taking home our own spaghetti bolognese meal at the end of the day.
