Through our teaching of mathematics using the mastery approach, we are enabling our children to live life to the fullest:  at St Catherine's the teaching of maths equips children with skills of reasoning and problem solving which they can apply to other areas of their lives.  Maths encourages children to take risks and to reflect upon and learn from failures as well as successes.  This key skill of resilience will be invaluable to them in later life.  We hope this will open doors in their futures, allowing them to flourish and achieve great things.
