WORKING FROM HOME

Please click on the links below to access week by week activities for your child to complete for the relevant subjects

This page will be updated weekly- the second weekly group of activities (week beginning Monday 30th March) are available now!

Virtual Tennis Racket Tap:

Hertford and Ware Sports Games are hosting a virtual competition for Year 3 and 4 called Racket Tap.

Racket Tap will encourage pupils to see how long they are able to keep a tennis ball/ball of socks in the air, hitting from a racket or equivalent. Pupils will need to count how many times they are able to hit in 2 minutes and submit this as their result.

Please send your scores via email or Facebook message. We will collate the results and the top Year 3 scorers will be entered into the competition as a team. The deadline to submit your score is Wednesday 1st July. Good luck!

Keeping Active:

Not only is it important you keep your mind active but your body too! Joe Wicks (The Body Coach) will be streaming live workouts on his channel every day to help keep children active whilst schools are closed. We have completed some of Joe's workouts in class so the children are familiar with this.

Those still in school will be getting involved every morning... even Miss Irons and Miss Follen! It is so important to keep yourself active while at home.

Supporting the Community:

We appreciate this can be a lonely time for those finding themselves in isolation so we thought we would spread a little St Catherine's joy. The children wrote a letter to the residents of Ashwood Care Home in Ware to brighten their day! If you would like to do the same, send your letter to...

All letters would be greatly received!

We thought we would join the local community in brightening the neighbourhood by painting our own #keepsmiling rainbows. Our rainbows are being displayed outside the school to spread joy and positivity!
